  • Harvesting and packaging properly for sale to the public - surprisingly, one of the most difficult tasks.
  • Harvesting and helping in the kitchen with value added products and packaging.
  • Cleaning of tools and workspaces, general neatness and careful attention to detail.
  • Helping with chores related to the garden, livestock, waste disposal, composting and other odd jobs.

Project Internships

Project Internships are just that - a concentrated effort to complete specific projects in an efficient and comprehensive way.  Some examples of project internships would be:

  • Replacing an entire section of fencing - 2 miles of highway boarder fence, or riparian fencing, for example.
  • Building or remodeling an existing structure on the property.
  • Working a series of workshop events that are scheduled one after another during the summer months.
  • This type of internship may also include a project that is administrative in nature that is too big or complex to include in the typical Administrative Intern's activities.
